Harrison Bader

#34 in the Midseason Top 50

Darth Bader made his MLB debut last night and instantly proved that he has the chance to be an impact major leaguer. Bader showed off his plus speed and competitiveness in his first at-bat. He hit a hard ground ball to Trevor at SS and shockingly almost beat it out. In his final at-bat, he roped a double to left and ended up using that impact speed to score the game-winning run in walk-off fashion. It is obvious that Bader has provided a spark in the Cardinals dugout with his infectious love of the game. I’m really looking forward to watching/following his performances the next couple weeks. I have a feeling he won’t be getting sent back down whenever Fowler comes off the DL.

He is also 2-2 tonight with a walk…NO BIG DEAL
